CMT resurrected NASHVILLE (originally airing on ABC) in June of 2016, with new episodes filming in the fall and a premiere date of Jan 5, 2017. To promote the show, we wrote an almost lyrical monologue we felt hit the emotional highs and lows, hopes and broken dreams of each character. We shot on green screen in conjunction with our conceptual shoot and combined with footage from the prior season and brief teaser clips from the upcoming season.
As this was our first piece promotional material, it has since garnerned over 6mm views on Facebook in less than a month, and loads of press from Rolling Stone, TV Guide, Entertainment Weekly, Yahoo, Deadline, People, US Weekly, and more.
With our producing partner, 2C Media, we also won a 2017 Silver PromaxBDA for these spots.
